Autonomous Painting

We provide multidomain simulation — air, ground, surface, underwater — as a scalable cloud-based service, with native interfaces for developers and deployed hardware. Clients develop and validate software long before a physical machine is ready, testing at scale under realistic comms and adversarial conditions. What passes validation is what ships. We mount traditional industrial robots on mobile elevated work platforms to give them unprecedented reach.  We are currently applying the technology to painting and spray operations to reduce worker exposure to hazardous materials.  Our system takes its own measurements of the surface to be coated, plans the spray paths, and executes them autonomously.  The system models coating deposition in real time, providing constant feedback on coverage and quality.

We are expert in the Robot Operating System 2 (ROS2).  We provide a wide array of support to clients who are upgrading their technologies to use this ubiquitous architecture, from behavior development to training.  We have a proven track-record of helping clients dramatically shorten the learning curve and training them to be self-sufficient.  We then get out of the way so the client's in-house experts can maximize the value of their domain knowledge.
